What Are You Doing for Yourself for Mother's Day?

Aside from perhaps working a part of full-time job, this year has been filled with at least five of the following: running the kids to and from school or daycare, soccer practices, rehearsals, helping them with their homework, preparing their meals, taking care of them when they're sick, changing diapers, doing laundry, keeping order in the house, paying bills...do I need to go on?

My question to you is, what are you doing for yourself this Sunday?

As a daughter, I know I've often taken my mother for granted because she's the one person I know without a shadow of a doubt will always be there for me. Taking someone for granted may sound like a negative thing, but it's really putting all my trust, faith and love into the woman I know will never stop loving me. That's no small feat because I know I've given her my fair share of headaches throughout the years...benign headaches, but I've had my moments, I'm not afraid to admit it! I'm just blessed to still have her with me. I'm very thankful for that.

I know you deserve to take a bit of time and feel good about yourself because you're a real life super hero. Whether you're getting a night out with the girls, getting a massage or a mani/pedi, or getting to spend the entire day doing something fun with the family.

But what about a gift that keeps giving for more than just a day?

I've made up so many faces over the last 19 years, and I know when a woman feels good about herself, it's priceless.

Commit to giving yourself just five minutes a day, and give yourself the gift of feeling great, even when your day may be more chaotic than you'd like. You deserve it!
